You will have the flexibility to engage the customers on Siemens behalf and provide consultation as the industry expert for Additive Manufacturing applications. Responsibilities: Lead an agile team of business developers to create, implement and manage strategic initiatives for the growth of Siemens share in the additive manufacturing market, in collaboration with Siemens headquarters, the US sales team and other US based departments necessary for a successful implementation, Drive top line revenue by working closely with business unit account managers, OEM printer manufacturers and end users. Maintain internal and external customer data in SieSales (Salesforce), as well as within the MS Teams environment. Prepare periodic reports to summarize top line automation revenue/order intake across several business units, while developing strategic initiative measures and results for Management Pre-qualify opportunities for new business, identify suitable growths accounts with chance of success, and assist Siemens Account Managers with initial account penetration / development Plan, support and execute efforts related to exhibition at tradeshows, Participate in appropriate conferences. Create presentations and demos for market impact Analyze key competitors’ position in the market, Research key competitors’ products, Communicate key information regarding competition to appropriate teams within Siemens, Market share analysis by competitor, Competitor SWOT analysis Build operational excellence in collaboration with other teams in the organization to drive the vision of the CATCH (Charlotte Advanced Collaboration Hub) facility on the path to Industrializing Additive Manufacturing. Coordinates his/her activities self-sufficiently within the organization Required Knowledge/Skills, and Experience: At least 15 years’ experience in 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing Sales or Business Development. Knowledge of general business functions, including marketing, manufacturing, finance, product development, engineering, sales, and global business aspects Must possess demonstrated ability to work across functions to drive value into market; must have demonstrated ability to drive cooperation and integration with account managers to ensure product roadmaps are aligned with overall market needs and future growth opportunities Ensure overall alignment with market needs by influencing the product portfolio, product placement and position in the market by interfacing with product management Ability to recognize, anticipate and understand technological trends, market requirements, customer requirements and customer needs in the US, also considering global market impact.
