Job Description
· Identify benefits program needs in the core benefits areas of retirement, medical, life insurance, and disability and ensure programs are competitive, cost effective, and meet statutory guidelines
· Review local market practices annually and identify non-core benefits needs and programs based on the demands and trends
· Review market practices on an ongoing basis and recommend changes.
· Design and implement programs that reflect the company’s goals and meet both local needs and within corporate guidelines.
· Manage, design and implement global programs such as global business travel, expat medical insurance and global EAP
· Manage and create partnerships with global vendors, conduct vendor governance/review process, negotiate vendor contracts and pricing, manage renewal process, monitor quality of vendor services and resolve vendor issues as needed.
· Partner with vendors to provide comprehensive reporting including utilization, costs, etc. to identify trends in order to help identify program opportunities that promote employee consumerism and encourage good health practices.
· Work with local Total Rewards and Site HR teams to establish process for annual enrollment.
· Develop employee communication related to benefit programs, changes, enrollment, and the overall value of benefit offerings; partner with in-country HR teams to ensure timely and effective delivery/distribution of communication.
· Collaborate with non-U.S. Clinic Operations to drive cost efficient healthcare delivery across our healthcare programs and on-site clinics
· Collaborate with U.S. Benefits Director and non-U.S. Clinic Operations on Health & Wellness Strategy in order to build viable programs for all employees worldwide
Qualifications
· 10+ years of benefits experience with experience in leading APAC & EMEA benefits programs preferred
· Strong data analysis skills and financial acumen
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills
· Ability to work independently and to effectively manage multiple priorities
· Deep understanding of retirement, medical, disability and life insurance programs
· Familiarity with government mandated and social security programs in a wide range of international locations
· Third party vendor and broker management experience
· Bachelor's degree required advanced degree preferred
· Provide leadership, supervision and guidance to staff
· Collaborate with Global Total Rewards team as well as all HR peers and leadership
