Job Description

Director, Compensation, North & Central America

The Director, Compensation, North & Central America will provide oversight for NCA Region compensation programs, practices and processes, serving as a subject matter expert to the field and corporate office support teams, aiding in business planning, market intelligence and in direct support of our people strategy. This position reports to the Senior Vice President, Talent & Culture, North and Central America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the STIP (Short Term Incentive Plan) process and programs in coordination with our Paris office for overall plan design, guidance and administration. Direct support of the HUB (NCA Region) controlled aspects of the plan and related plans including design, administration, process improvement, strategy, reporting and leadership.
  • Oversight for the market data collection process including HICS, reporting, on-demand requests and market summary data for key positions. 
  • Oversight and leadership for the NCA region compensation committee including agenda, leadership, policy review, cadence and analytics to ensure we meet key compensation deliverables through the appropriate input, review and socialization of relevant agenda items.
  • Project management support for compensation related technology, applications and data collection. 
  • Contribution to the overall T&C strategy including planning sessions, conference calls, speaking at key meetings and serving as external ambassador for Accor in the region. 
  • Oversight and administration of LTI (Long Term Incentive) Plans in connection with the Paris office.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Compensation Consultant, preferably 4+ years directly supporting groups with leveraged compensation programs.
  • Familiarity of applicable terminology, concepts and outcomes for successfully managing the compensation process 
  • Demonstrated track record of working effectively across functions including strong communication organization and prioritization leading to high quality output meeting deadlines and building trust
  • Expertise in financial analysis, statistical analysis, and modeling is required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, influence, problem solve, and successfully collaborate and communicate with partners on various levels is essential
