As a Director Customer Service Training Operations is responsible assuring that the overall customer service technical training business requirements are met by developing the technical training operations management strategy for the function.

  • To ensure the technical training is delivered at the high quality level to meet compliance requirements, timely and at a cost effective level.

  • Must establish best in class operations and projects to execute the technical training service operations strategies.

  • Work closely with senior management and others to create and execute a well-thought out technical training strategy.

  • This includes developing sound marketplace knowledge, including the competition, and how demand is created for customer centric solutions.

  • Bring a systematic approach to developing technical training management solutions with a strong emphasis on customer service and helping customers succeed.

  • Executing customer service technical training strategies, including management of operational activities from receipt of technical training created through delivery.

  • Responsible for the effective management of resources and direct and ensure the flawless execution of technical training operations functions.

Your Role

The Director must partner and build relationships internally and externally.

  • This would include Business Groups, Service and Sales/Marketing organizations, operations, finance, project management organizations with the intent to understand technical training management priorities in order to balance supply and demand management needs with business plans.

  • Develop a world-class team by mentoring/coaching, rewarding high performance and skill development.

  • Develop advanced technical training delivery management solutions that are integrated with the overall business objectives and strategies.

  • Establishing new processes, implement decision support tools, policies and procedures to achieve world-class training delivery operations performance. Utilizing process excellence tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement of training delivery processes and systems. This is done through deep experience in executing training delivery functions and generating measurable and sustained results.

You are responsible for

  • Must be capable of driving process and performance improvements throughout an organization and understanding the trade-offs across an organization in achieving goals

  • Committed to the learning of service engineers and Customers in their step-wise (journey of continuous learning) growth including disciplines as a specialist or generalist

  • Models the highest standards of professional practice and interaction with students

  • Inspires and motivates the Senior management towards high educational standards

  • Understands, applies and shares educational research, theory and practice in pedagogy, assessment and reporting (data analysis)

  • Thinking out of the box to bring creative solutions

  • Ability to develop and maintain business partnerships at all levels of an organization

  • Highly knowledgeable and credible in order to generate confidence across the company

  • Driver of cultural change as well as being a clear and open communicator and ensuring that all team members have well defined expectations and goals

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can successfully negotiate across a complex organization and be comfortable working in a matrixed format.

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, Data driven, action-oriented environment and culture and can push back when necessary to not lose sight of critical issues

  • Strong mentoring and motivating abilities in order to staff and develop a world-class operation

  • An undergraduate degree, preferably in a technical / Educational discipline with a Bachelor or MBA
