Job Description
As the director of marketing technology at Wego, the successful candidate is responsible for building complex, enterprise-wide applications and systems to support digital marketing automation and personalization.
This role will also be the key point of contact for all digital systems and marketing products including marketing attribution/analytic platform, digital ad networks and creative management platforms. This professional will work as a strategic leader working alongside senior leadership to establish a road map outlining the technology vision for years to come, provide technical support and host martech infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Marketing Automation System Development - Integrate open system and external vendor via API to automate entire in-house marketing campaign operation funnel, from campaign planning creation, optimization, to measurement. Develop marketing tools that increase the efficiency of marketing operations such as tools that effectively generate personalized content by given a specific segment or refresh ad copy for large scales of campaigns
- Marketing Product Management – Lead all digital technology platforms such as CRM, CMP, Marketing Databases and analytic platforms. Deploy new marketing product in operation and drive usecase within global marketing team.
- Complex Marketing Creative Production - Produce advanced marketing creative technology and develop pilot to increase creative attractiveness, such as AMP email, dynamic creative and interactive ad
- Technology and Vendor Selection/Management - Evaluate and select promising technology and vendor to add into company marketing technology stack. Manage the relationship with vendors.
- Marketing Science and AI - Utilize machine learning, advanced statistical method or industry knowledge to automate decision making in marketing such as bidding calculation, product recommendation and customer segmentation.
- Tagging and Measurement - Define data collection scheme based on requirement and lead data and product team for implementation. Measure revenue based on in-house attribution model with consideration of cross channel, cross device and organic uplift.
- Marketing feed file development and management - Support marketing team and advertising clients in developing and maintaining marketing feed file for all channels including google ads, facebook, google studio and third party ad network
Requirements
- Candidate must be analytical and technical; strategic thinking with problem solving skills, fluent in English is essential. Native in Mandarin is a plus.
- Excel at collaborating with various departments and marketing managers in order to ensure success with project launches.
- Executive experience delivering large scale ecommerce, marketing, and mobile technology solutions on a national or multinational scale
- Strong background and interest in technology coupled with an understanding for marketing and how to two are tied together to generate the most relevant and timely marketing content for travelers as well as marketing process optimization
- Proven to be a thought leader in marketing technology area
- Bachelor/Master Degree of computer science/engineering/information related discipline preferred
