Successfully drives and grow Qualcomms Taiwan based product and test development team. The team includes product, ATE test, design verification, yield, and systems test engineering across multiple technologies. We are seeking an individual with 20 + years experience managing and driving innovation and execution for Product and Test Engineers in the areas of Digital, RF, and Power management technologies as well as developing and enabling a full flow of module level testing for Qualcomms key products. The applicant should have an understanding of test and product debug at the semiconductor and systems level. Additionally, the applicant must be capable of understanding the base technologies, driving project schedules for NPI products and enabling long term cost reduction via yield improvement, test time optimization, and enhancing partnership with key supply chain providers. This individual's job function will include recruiting, staffing, and development of Engineers and managers as well as driving innovation, clear communications with all BUs, and achieving all key KPIs for the team. The individual would have proven skills working through cross-functional teams in remote locations, excellent communication skills, working experience with ATEs, semiconductor foundries, SATs, Failure Analysis, and other manufacturing/test providers. Functional skills required for the position would be an understanding of Automatic Test Equipment architecture, test program development, Design-for-Testability, economics of manufacturing test, wafer fabrication and device physics, knowledge of wireless communication products, and VLSI design process. The position would require regular travel.

10+ years managing mid to high level teams ( 20+ years of experience) in the key area of interest, with a clear track record of driving innovation, growing leaders, and enabling cross functional relationships with our global design teams, BUs and technology partners. Demonstrated capability of managing teams of > 100 people and across multiple countries. Experience in managing remotely located teams is a must with clear concise communications and a drive for global team partnerships. For success, the individual Experience in working knowledge of ATE equipment, ATE architecture and test development programming Product Engineering problem solving skills, lean engineering principals, Design-for-Testability, Economics of manufacturing test/ yield; Wafer fabrication and device physics. Knowledge of wireless communication products of VLSI Design process is a value add.
