In this role, you have the opportunity to
be responsible for ensuring that the engineering practices across all global development programs in CT/AMI Business are executed with world-class quality. The role requires to influence the practices of the CT/AMI organization across the whole product lifecycle, shaping clear vision of development practices and working with other members of the global R&D Management Team to ensure that the work practices and competence in their teams supports this vision.
in this role you will be leading a team of professionals in multiple R&D sites and drive competence development, process improvement and achievement of product quality.
You are responsible for
Creating a north-star vision of how good engineering practices leading to world-class quality look like
Operationalizing the vision into an improvement program for the whole R&D organization globally
Leading a global team of professionals that are together executing the improvement plans
Globally responsible for the achieving the product quality KPIs on portfolio level (cost of non-quality, complaint rate)
Working in close relation with Q&R to ensure compliance to design controls and ability to represent R&D in external and internal audits
Understand external factors including: Regulatory, Customers, Competition, and Industry trends
Drives functional excellence including: Professionalism in domain expertise, Building up of strong, innovative teams, World class productivity, Promote domain knowledge, system thinking, and customer understanding
Enables process management including: Support for all global initiatives, Prioritization of team goals, Enable adequate coverage for deliverables, Build and promote strong processes, Drives accountability across the team
Exemplifies global thinking including: Promoting openness to learning things and leverage others’ capabilities, Sharing capabilities across global locations, Building an environment of trust
You are a part of
Global R&D Management Team of CT/AMI
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Deep knowledge and experience in system engineering, product and SW quality, design controls and reliability
10+ years of experience working as an Engineer or in a similar field.
3+ years of experience as a R&D group leader or equivalent.
Experience in a regulated / process-oriented environment such as medical device development
Experience with imaging systems preferred
Experience managing teams in multiple locations
Strong influencing and communication skills, ability to work with all seniority levels and manage internal/external stack-holders
Business proficiency in English
