Intel's Global Government Affairs division carries out the advocacy and lobbying efforts in every market where Intel does business. The organization is responsible for positioning Intel's business as critical infrastructure and leadership as key partners with influential government audiences. Our core priorities include public policy, growing our business and thought leadership.
As the Director, External Affairs, you will join a dynamic team and be able to immediately and directly enhance Intel's overall government affairs engagement. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Head of International Government Affairs and will play a critical and highly visible role for our team by driving strategic engagements with consortiums and NGOs, as well as acting as the Program Manager for Intel's newly formed Government Affairs Advisory Committee.
This role will be responsible for growing our efforts to build and strengthen relationships with partners in and outside of the U.S. government. This person will be responsible for relationship management and building strategic partnerships that strengthen Intel's position as an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Government Affairs Advisory Committee.
Manage coordination and governance of trade associations and consultants.
Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with external organizations related to Intel's business interests.
Track, share, and make recommendations regarding tech sector trends and activities that can inform innovation in models and best practices for a broad range of Intel initiatives.
Represent the organization externally to reinforce Intel's role within the technology industry.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following:
Experience working with government and 3rd party leaders in Washington, D.C.
Ability to engage across a diverse stakeholder group with executive presence.
Relationship building across the intersection of technology and government.
Deep understanding of political topics related to the tech industry.
Experience acting as liaison with NGOs and industry consortiums.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in public relations, government affairs or related field with a minimum of 12-years work experience or a Master's degree with 10-years work experience.
Experience should be within government affairs or a trade environment.
Experience with legislation and a track record of advancing legislation through a political body.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$149,430.00-$261,690.00
