Purpose: This is a financial leadership role within the Aesthetics US finance team accountable for the overall financial management of the entire Medical Aesthetics Portfolio related to Alle (Loyalty program) and APP (Allergan Partner Privileges). Total budget of 850MM per 2022 to manage in allowances (APP, Alle, Brand Promotions), will partner with several VPs (Digital and Multi-Channel Marketing, Sales Ops, Pricing, Marketing) who oversee the Alle and APP programs. Responsibilities: • This person will strategically partner with the marketing teams/sales ops/Alle team to design and execute robust pricing programs, maximizing profit and loyalty. The focus will be on APP and the product level pricing programs along with Alle (consumer loyalty program). • Responsible for the budgets and the forecasts of the APP and Alle Program and monthly analysis ensuring the Business Unit is on-track to meet the latest quarterly / annual objectives for both allowances and gross sales. This person will be responsible for creating a Loyalty P&L within Medical Aesthetics and tracking performance. • Active member of the leadership team, which includes formal presentations and a proactive approach to keep the team up to date on financial performance, finance-related matters, and calendar. • Participate in marketing plan reviews, national sales meetings, product launch working groups, pricing council and other strategic topics that either require finance input or allow for a stronger partnership. • work with marketing and the sales team in the following in facilitating responses to MOUs including target performance, account analysis, and review of legal terms. Support Sales and program operation teams with product strategy and rationale for best competitive advantage. This will require expertise on all products and pricing strategies. Drive consistency in contracting process and pricing strategy by timely execution, maintenance, and reporting of agreements. • Ensure that signed contracts and changes are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, to support successful implementation. Maintain awareness of customer buying behaviors and trends and identify opportunities for APP program growth with brand owners. • Provide APP Team with reports/tools to assist in customer level movements, and program promotions. Act as a conduit between the APP team, Alle, sales, and marketing teams, providing program financials and forecasts (monthly, quarterly, mid-year, and annual). Ad hoc reporting & analysis as needed. • Proactively communicate concerns to ensure sufficient time for action to be taken during the current quarter. • Assure adequate controls are designed, implemented, and monitored in the GTN space. • Staff Development – responsible for delegating to and coaching a staff of (4) employees to ensure an optimal level of support to the business and provide coaching and career development opportunities to sustain a high performing staff. Qualifications •Requires 7-10 years progressive accounting or finance experience. •This position requires an individual with the ability and desire to proactively search out and evaluate business problems and opportunities. •Capability to direct efforts to achieve answers and results. •Ability to solve business problems through the proactive identification of issues and subsequent collection, analysis, and interpretation of related data. •Demonstrated problem solving and analysis within a broad framework of AbbVie’s financial policies (CFMs), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance •Preferred: MBA in Accounting or Finance and/or CPA/CMA •Preferred: Multi-division experience and knowledge of the financial planning process •Preferred: Solid understanding of automated accounting systems such as TM1, desktop productivity and mainframe accounting applications Significant Work Activities Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day) Travel No Job Type Experienced Schedule Full-time Job Level Code D Equal Employment Opportunity At AbbVie, we value bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds to develop new and innovative solutions for patients.
