Director, Global Accounts, Meetings & Incentives
Senior position integral in the success of the Corporate Team by securing Meetings and Events programs in support of the Accor Brands. In charge of developing Global Strategic & Key Accounts by increasing market share and revenue through:
- Generating agreed upon room night revenue as outlined in the annual goals
- Building effective long-term relationships through a customer centric approach
- Leveraging Accor’s global network capabilities to implement the account strategy worldwide
- Federating key internal contributors and external players
- Developing a high level of expertise recognized by the client to bring differentiating service value
- Being fluent in AccorHotels sales methodology as outlined with the ability to use these skills with internal and external customers to bring positive outcomes

What you will be doing:
- Developing close relationships with Client C-Level and key decision makers to increase Accor’s weight / position
- Qualifying client needs, expectations, and directions to define the value proposition, and ensuring a proper delivery of agreements
- Keeping abreast of business global trends and bringing differentiating value by providing insights, market expertise and innovative solutions
- Developing relationships and animating the account’s third-party network to influence positively Accor’s position across market segments
- Maintain memberships in appropriate industry associations and organizations.
- Defining and implementing a clear account strategy to improve the presence and revenue of Accor at a global & regional level
- Playing a role in negotiations as required
- Developing account penetration and identifying new business opportunities
- Developing business plans and defining actions using Accor’s methodology & processes
- Ensuring a successful submission of the AccorHotels value proposition during the RFI and RFP phases.
- Ensuring selection and deal closings
- Mobilizing and driving key contributors involved in the customer’s experience: operations / hotel managers, revenue management, distribution, booking etc.
Your experience and skills include:
- Senior experience in Strategic Account Management (8-13 years’ experience in the field)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- International experience
- Ability to address & sell at C-Level (including within Accor)
- Ability to analyze its full client business environment to lead a 360° strategic approach when applicable
- Meetings and Events expert (Strong Meetings & events business knowledge)
- Experience in handling complex commercial and contract negotiations
- Knowledgeable in revenue management and distribution channels
- Very clear understanding of business environment and stakeholders
- Ability to streamline complex sales processes
- Strong leadership skills to mobilize, coordinate and insure commitment of non-related contributors
- Very high level of English (both written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationships
- Creative problem solving
- Project management skills: organize, structure, and monitor internal and external contributors
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Knowledge of Salesforce is preferable but not mandatory.
Your team and working environment:
- This job will be based at the North & Central America Regional Office in Toronto
- This job requires international travel and participation to events (up to 25% of the time)
