As an Associate Director, Hematology Marketing, in Gaithersburg, MD, you'll play a pivotal role as:

  • Marketing Leader in channeling our scientific capabilities to make a positive impact on changing patients' lives
  • Manager of a team of ~3-4 and functionally engage 20+ matrix cross-functional stakeholders to develop and execute on a robust commercial HCP strategy for the brand and ensure alignment across all key stakeholders, including medical, Insights and Sales Training
  • Develop overarching HCP marketing strategies and tactics, including creation of brand strategy plan, launch plans, and competitive readiness plans and develop key sales messages
  • Help monitor and diagnose brand performance, leading partnership efforts with Global leaders to define life-cycle priorities, informing labeling recommendations, and sharing insights across markets
  • Help partner with Global Marketing to develop compelling brand positioning and messaging
  • Manage budget and broad engagement with external partners/agencies
  • Work across AZ to develop an innovative marketing mix and customer engagement model
  • Strong leader and team player who can interface with high performing field teams including sales, nurse educators, and regional marketing team
  • Mentor, lead, coach, and develop a team of marketers

Essential For the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Business or Life Science
  • Pharmaceutical experience in US or global marketing
  • Oncology Brand Management experience

Desirable For the Role:

  • MBA or Graduate degree in Life Science
  • Hematology experience
  • US marketing experience
  • Launch experience
  • Exhibit high degree of clinical acumen
  • Experience in or working closely with Insights/Market Research/Managed Markets
