Eaton’s IT Operating & Enabling Value Chain & Platforms has an exciting opportunity for an IT Digital Transformation Leader, Finance - Record-to-Report, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations & Audit. We would like this role to work out of our Eaton Beachwood facility but will consider qualified candidates who can work out of an of our other US Eaton facilities. The IT Digital Transformation Leader, Finance - Record-to-Report, Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations & Audit drives business value and customer satisfaction proactively through end-to-end processes and applying leading technology in composable architecture across the enterprise in support of the functions' capabilities requirements. Responsibilities include technology selection, design, implementation, operational transition, and adoption of related solutions through a global team focused on business value definition, investment planning, user performance, business change management and program/project management across a complex IT portfolio and a variety of technology solutions. The leader will partner with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to improve business performance and realize expected benefits and value. The leader will be accountable for managing the technical landscapes across the functions and initiatives through a composable architecture which includes including managing budgets, resources, planning and delivering all elements of the program preparation, framework, governance, accountability, measurable initiative performance and business benefits realization, best practices, organizational change management, development, delivery, and sustainment lifecycle management through innovative approaches and solutions. The chosen candidate will be expected to build a high-performing team and partner with suppliers to provide cost-effective operations and delivery with accelerated time-to-value, minimizing cost and risk with a quality and expeditious factory mindset. Strategy development and execution - Understand, harmonize, and prioritize business capability needs, defining initiatives and value propositions to drive proper investment. Define and communicate a strategic vision and inspire teams to execute despite adversity; requires skills to anticipate and remediate risks at a global scale Lead the organization - build and develop a high-performance culture based upon a product-centric team of versatilists that brings innovative thought leadership, cross-functional business process acumen, a sense of urgency and speed, continuous improvement, industry knowledge, leading best practices and methods, contemporary platform knowledge and other required technical skills Orchestrate and achieve business outcomes - prioritized based upon value throughout the end-to-end process of order management, procurement, manufacturing and finance through the development, deployment, and adoption of new capabilities. Integrate value-based planning, program/project planning and multi-year roadmaps including all related business processes and technology. Delivery and pull through of business outcomes through contemporary technology. In partnership with business process owners and business leaders, proactively prepare, monitor, and share business performance at the appropriate level and mitigate risks in order to meet/beat commitments. Drive data quality in legacy systems in advance of site deployments, build the application landscape based upon a cloud-based composable architecture through leading solutions. Drive smart execution through a "Business Capability Factory" concept. Partner with global business units to plan and orchestrate business readiness and adoption of process change across value streams. Innovate - to significantly reduce overall program cost and build and deployment time through creative methods and new technologies inclusive of AI/ML, analytics, modern user experience, cloud, etc. Build networks and relationships - engage executives, leaders, functions and teams at all levels in the business and within the technology function to ensure engagement, sponsorship, continued awareness, individual, site, data and application landscape readiness. Orchestrate governance bodies and process stewardship for the purposes of business outcome definition, prioritization, project risk management, business readiness, communications, etc. Partner with business units and functions to plan and orchestrate business readiness and adoption of process change. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; Business administration, computer science, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience leading increasingly larger cross-functional teams and business focused transformations Candidate must be authorized to work in the US on a continuous basis without company sponsorship.
