We are seeking a Director Inside Sales.

The Next47 GTM (Go to Market) team exists to accelerate Founders’ ground-breaking ideas into reality, shape the industry leaders of the future, and position Next47 as the new standard for venture capital firms. As a Global Inside/Virtual Sales Leader, you will be part of the Next47 GTM leadership team. You will build our first ever high performing Inside/Virtual Sales team. This team will help initiate contact with Enterprise customers; Next47’s GTM team drive pipeline; close midsized transactions; and act as a talent feeder to the Next47 outside sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting, training, developing and managing Next47’s global Inside/Virtual sales team.
  • Partnering with local universities to build a recruiting pipeline for new college grads.
  • Build and implement sales technology to support both the Inside and Outside sales teams.
  • Build a program to help prospect and close new customers for Next47’s portfolio.
  • Develop prospecting cadence that drives meetings for the sales teams.
  • Test new GTM motions to support Next47’s strategic initiatives.

Success metrics will include:

  • Enterprise meetings scheduled
  • GTM team quota attainment
  • Promoted employees 

Your qualification and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated career progression in inside sales, with a focus on building highly performing inside sales teams that drive revenue realization.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in career progressive inside sales and and sales team leadership roles within both publicly traded and high growth, sales-focused pre-IPO companies, ideally in technology focused sectors.
  • Must have built and scaled a (primarily) Inside/Virtual Sales team.
  • Must have experience building out the technology stack to support an Inside/Virtual Sales team (SFDC; Outreach; LinkedIn Sales Navigator; Zoom Info; Gong).
  • Demonstrable strong work ethic with an eagerness to coach and help Founders build great companies.
  • Ability to build a Sales academy to recruit, develop and promote new college graduates.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time and travel internationally.
  • Ability to influence potential customers, and articulate a solid premise for engaging with the Next47 GTM team.
  • Ability to teach and influence sales leaders.
