Job Description

The position is an important center of excellence within the Johnson Electric Corporate Human Resources team. The position provides global leadership in the areas of internal communication, employee learning, engagement, social responsibility and company culture.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all internal communications including written materials, video production, employee meetings and senior executive speeches writing.
  • Responsible for global training and development activities including strategy, curriculum development and delivery systems.
  • Lead, promote and support global employee engagement strategies and initiatives. Administers the employee engagement survey and coordinates follow-up initiatives. Coordinates the annual “One Johnson” global celebration.
  • Coordinate the company’s social responsibility activities, especially in the area of technical education and encouraging young people to consider technology careers. Responsible for shareholder report on social responsibility.
  • Responsible for the training and change management strategies necessary to support the company’s digital transformation journey.
  • Ensures that the company values are well understood by employees and continually reinforced through multiple communications channels.
  • Responsible for communicating and preserving the company’s history.
  • Provide communications materials to support recruitment activities and presence on social media.

 

Qualifications

  • Deep experience in two or more of the following areas: internal communication, employee learning, employee engagement and change management. Familiarity with all four key areas is a must.  
  • Must have strong communications skills and be proficient in written and spoken English. The ability to effectively communicate in Mandarin is a plus.
  • A demonstrated passion for driving organizational change and helping both the company and employees to achieve “next level” performance.
  • The ability to operate at a high strategic level, but at the same time be able to “telescope” down into the details and do “hands on work”.
