Job Description
We are seeking Director of New Vendor Origination who is an energetic sales professional in the equipment finance industry that has profound background in small and mid-ticket Vendor Finance Programs within the Construction, Machine Tool, Material Handling, Packaging, Healthcare and High Tech/IT Industries. In this role, you will be instrumental to originate Vendor Programs by performing the duties further below. You will report to the Head of Sales. Responsibilities Home based anywhere in the US (reporting office Malvern, PA) Key contact person for new vendor origination process in support of the growth strategy for the business Identification of main stakeholders/decision makers at vendor targets; ongoing direct calling, marketing, relationship and contact management to build pipeline Examine, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities in line with existing value proposition volume potential, strategic importance and profitability goals; minimum volume potential of $10MM+ annually Proposing, structuring and negotiating of vendor program agreements • Onboard new relationships while collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure streamlined process and success of programs; create onboarding protocol in support of this process as well as starting account plan with mapping information of the vendor and deal/program process description. Create value for our vendor partners and customer, while ensuring that SFS will reach its financial objectives Close communication and collaboration with Sales Channel Heads and International Vendor Account Team Plan sales volumes and potentials of all vendors and customers within scope of responsibility • Provide information for forecasts and planning. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Minimum of 15 years leasing/finance experience Proven track record working in vendor programs for both small ticket and middle market programs, with the focus on the later Strong new business development skills, experience with vendor program development, and proven track record selling leasing programs. Ability to execute business strategy and contribute to targeted sales, relationship management objectives and business returns Working knowledge of Equipment Leasing standard operating procedures for the areas of application processing, underwriting, documenting and portfolio servicing. Creative deal structuring, negotiating skills and ability to provide solutions and address customer needs • Maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced setting. • Demonstrated understanding of risk versus return • Ability to travel, meet with clients/prospects, attend industry events and conferences • Functional knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and CRM systems. • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to motivate and influence others and maintain long-term internal and external business relationships Organization: Siemens Financial Services Company: Siemens Financial Services, Inc.
