In this vital role the Omnichannel Marketing Director for Cardiovascular (Repatha) will not only have a significant impact on the continued, and future success of our US Cardiovascular business at Amgen, but also the lives the CV patients that can benefit from Repatha treatment.
The role of Director Omnichannel Marketing Cardiovascular (Repatha) reports to Executive Director of HCP Marketing CV and is responsible for leading the cross-brand channel, digital, and content strategy working closely across all functions. Key aspects of the role will involve partnering with Campaign Operations teams to design, develop and deploy end to end HCP campaigns. As well as, partnering with the commercial insights teams to integrate and generate insights from customer engagements that will help to personalize and optimize a customer’s experience along the entire journey, effectively driving desired behavior changes.
This critical role requires tight collaboration with a wide range of internal and external partners and ability to implement with agility. Therefore, the ideal candidate will impart outstanding leadership, a strategic approach, proven capability to build brands with a highly collaborative approach, and a passion for serving patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the customer segmentation/profiling work for the brand working cross functionally and closely with commercial insights, data and analytics partners (CD&A)
Lead the cross-brand channel, digital, and content strategy working closely across all functions
Partner closely with Campaign Ops teams to design, develop and deploy end to end HCP campaigns
Be the Customer 360 Champions for the business unit working closely with Global Commercial Capabilities and Digital Technology & Innovations teams to ensure clear plans when it comes to new capability builds and quarterly planning
Drive the adoption and utilization of new capabilities (Global Service Center, new reporting platforms, etc.)
Create a winning culture and coach staff on the team
Develop a highly collaborative and effective cross-functional marketing team that strives for flawless execution that results in an optimal customer experience
Develop, pilot, and deploy insights-driven future strategies and innovations that will put Amgen in a leadership position and drive behavior change among target HCPs
Develop and deliver on revenue and expense forecast expectations by managing budgets and closely monitor performance to meet brand goals and objectives, ensuring cost-effective delivery of all programs.
Continually evaluate evolving marketing trends and technologies to recommend new channels and capabilities that drive improved ROIs
Collaborate closely with multiple business partners, just to name a few most critical ones: HCP/IDN Marketing, Sales leaders, Value and Access, and the full Repatha x-functional brand team
Manage advertising agencies and other vendor partners to develop and produce engaging creative and tactics via traditional and innovative channels.

Basic Qualifications
Doctorate degree and 4 years of Marketing experience
Or
Master’s degree and 6 years of Marketing experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of managerial experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
5+ years of experience in a series of commercial roles of increasing scope, scale and complexity, with leading companies in the bio-pharmaceutical or health and wellness industry
Experience developing and implementing innovative commercial strategies, within highly competitive markets where innovation and marketing prowess are a key factor of success
Omnichannel execution experience with attention to improving speed, quality, cost, and customer experience
Strong track record in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment; managing projects involving multiple functions and shared accountabilities
