Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as Director – Operational Intelligence JOB LOCATION: Cary, NC This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Director – Operational Intelligence, you will be responsible for: · You will lead a highly skilled and capable team to advance a relatively new analytics program; including defining data infrastructure and protocols, both within the team as well as global partners throughout the organization. You must possess a working knowledge of the system development lifecycle and an ability to develop appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing and evaluating large amounts of data. · You will lead the implementation of innovative and creative analytics/quantitative methods to identify measurable enhancements to supply chain operations and other cross-functional processes. · You will plan, develop and implement decision support and analytical tools to assist in identifying customer trends, supplier trends, service levels and performance hits & misses by utilizing tools like Power BI, Qlikview, Tableau, etc. · You will automate and create visualizations of key business metrics to visually portray complex data in easy to understand format. · You will have experience with in international environments with co-existence of global accounting and local statutory needs. · You should be adept at understanding customer challenges, navigating from problem to resolution and communicating process and resolution effectively both verbally and in writing. Displays exceptional organizational skills and is detail oriented. This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to do develop your career with Healthineers · You have strong experience (2+ years preferred) in using industry standard BI tools; preference to PowerBI Advanced MS Office is required. · You have experience in coding complex algorithms in programming languages such as Python, R, C++, Java, etc. Development of custom applications using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is highly desirable preferred. · Your expertise in SQL coding is a must experience in Snowflake environment is highly preferred. · You have previous experience working in data mining knowledge that spans a range of disciplines (SCM a plus) and statistical analysis. You have a strong knowledge of basic and advanced prediction models. · You are able to work independently with minimal supervision of daily tasks, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic team-oriented, collaborative environment. You are able to effectively create and manage a project plan. · You have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to bridge the gap between data science, IT and business management. You can interact comfortably with all levels of management and staff. · You can creating a vision to evolve analytics within an organization and successful results executing her/his strategy. Required skills to have for the success of this role · You have a bachelor's degree in a STEM or business with a focus on analytics AND 8-10 years previous experience in the field. · SCM experience and advanced degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or Data Science/Analytics is preferred.
