The Director, Rheumatology Patient Services Programs creates a direct interface for the other Patient Services teams with their brand partners ensuring programs meet patient and provider needs. This role is the strategic lead, and owner of stakeholder engagement for Rheumatology. This role is responsible for overall Rheumatology patient support program performance and accountability including program strategy, design, and brand alignment. Major Responsibilities: Own all aspects of the patient support programs for Rheumatology; defines strategy, KPIs, co-leads leadership team meetings for Rheumatology Lead integrated Patient Services team in the development of US Patient Services Solution Strategies for brands within Rheumatology Drives patient support strategy, overseeing AbbVie investment to create patient access to medication and enable adherence to therapy Establish commercial priorities with IBT and liaise with executive management and internal business partners to communicate the business impact of patient support programs Direct interface between the other Patient Services teams and Rheumatology brand partners ensuring programs meet patient and provider needs Accountable for Rheumatology initiatives and program performance Manages the franchise leads; coaches, guides, and develops team to work with Rheumatology brand teams as trusted partners Tracks brand needs, economics, strategies, timelines, and priorities while staying abreast of Rheumatology and patient trends Ensures aligned strategic objectives and collaboration across all Patient Services and key stakeholder functions Leads strategic projects and initiatives with cross-functional partners and senior leadership, ensuring cross functional alignment throughout the process Qualifications Qualifications: List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience. Requires minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, Master’s Degree preferred 10+ years of experience in healthcare 10+ years of experience working at a pharmaceutical company in roles involving strategy and execution Deep understanding of the Rheumatology portfolio Strong strategic business acumen and a data driven mindset Ability to work cross-functionally to gain alignment on customer needs, objectives, and priorities, to optimize business and customer outcomes Ability to understand brand needs and trends to inform proactive business planning and prioritization Experience in building relationships across internal and external teams Senior level executive presence with strong writing, presentation skills and ability to navigate complex situations Ability to influence across functions to gain consensus on solutions Key Stakeholders (optional): Patient Services Leaders, Sales Leadership, Finance, Managed Healthcare, MABI, Market Access.
