Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Working Capital & Cash Finance Leader, reporting to the VP Financial Planning & Analysis for Eaton. This role is responsible for driving working capital and cash improvement opportunities throughout the organization. The individual will work with global process owners and the finance team to optimize cash generation by determining the optimal levels of working capital in the business, identifying, and leading working capital improvement initiatives, and quantifying and prioritizing those initiatives for execution. Additionally, this individual must provide insightful business analyses to senior management to support the development of objectives and action plans to achieve those objectives. The position requires a high level of detailed analysis in a complex organization, and the ability to be highly responsive and accurate. This person will interact with a wide range of people across the organization and requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly, and to communicate with people in all functional areas of the organization. The essential functions of this role include but are not limited to: Prepare monthly and quarterly cash and working capital results communications and analysis for senior leadership and other key stakeholders Provide comprehensive performance results, key insights to inform the organization on results and forecast future outcomes Develop input drivers, insights, and metrics, highlighting opportunities for improvement and areas of focus Develop, define, and harmonize working capital KPIs and standard work across the organization Engage finance operations and treasury to ensure alignment on cash and working capital drivers Provide support, advice, and guidance to the business with respect to working capital planning and reporting related activities Play an active role in strategy development and be actively involved in company projects with a view on improving cash and working capital performance Own and build-upon working capital and cash models used for results explanations as well as forecasting and scenario planning to drive continuous improvement in cash forecasting Define along with process leads and finance leaders potential working capital opportunities and execution plans and communication to internal stakeholders Establish improvement targets and relevant metrics to monitor and measure working capital and cash flow efficiency related to operational areas of focus Establish accountability tools and measures to ensure sustained efforts and track program progress. Report cash improvement program progress and success to senior leadership and relevant internal business stakeholders Manage and continue to improve worldwide cash forecasting model and process Participate in continuous Improvement events, which involve looking at internal processes and external benchmarking and advise solutions around creating efficient process or improving existing processes Define, drive and work with teams on key initiatives to improve cash flow Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 10 years of related work experience Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a manager of people. Proficient with financial reporting systems, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Preferred Qualifications MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFM, CIA) Position Criteria Strong understanding of working capital drivers and impact on an organizations operational and financial performance Experience in delivering projects that cover the full life cycle of assessment, design, and implementation Strong analytical skills with ability to consume large amounts of information and translate to useful recommendations Ability to manage conflicting priorities Self-Starter with the ability to develop strategic initiatives and drive results Must be a proactive communicator to all levels of management Strong interpersonal and leadership skill set that is effective at all levels of the organization Demonstrated ability to influence the broad organization towards the attainment of objectives Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and relationships in a global organization Leadership consulting, influencing and coaching skills Effectively leverage functional and cross-functional resources to solve problems, improve processes and meet objectives Effectively drive and manage change, challenges the status quo and champions new and innovative ideas Eaton considers qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with local laws.
