UWC+ Introduction

UWC + program enjoys a reputation as a highly trusted and internationally recognized institution for students, teachers, and administration. Building on the firm educational foundations established in their earlier studies at the UWC Changshu School, the curriculum in DP 1 and 2 provide should provide our learners with a challenging, relevant and mixed course of studies that recognizes the demands that they will face within the 21st-century learning. For UWC+ foundation students, the courses will offer a well-rounded experiential education, combining academic rigor with personal and professional development for our teachers. The UWC+ curriculum will have an IB focus with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) strands/subject syllabuses, and bulking up STEM scientific research, taking the sophisticated scoring of students from 1 to 7, and inspiring students with exciting STEM projects and programs to not just discuss or debate an issue or topic, experiment, or challenge but coming up with detailed design thinking solutions to issues, topics, experiments..

The Director of Admissions reports to the Principaland has overall responsibility for student admissions and enrolment for theschool.

The Director of Admissions will have a UWCbackground and preferably significant experience in college/universityadmissions or related fields. In addition the successful candidate will possessthe following:招生主任应具有大学招生委员会的背景，最好在学院/大学招生或相关领域有丰富的经验。此外，成功的申请人须具备以下条件:

• Experience with the IB DiplomaProgramme both as a teacher and as a leader/ manager.

Opened in 2015, UWC Changshu China is the first UWC in the mainland of China and the 15th in the world.
