Director of Capital Finance
Management Position Reporting to the Regional Director of Finance & Business Support

What you will be doing:

Capital Project Management: FF&E
- Work with all departments that have capital projects to help establish scopes and budgets
- Coordinate with Director of Purchasing on capital spend
- Administer all required paperwork, including bid reviews, AFEs, and approvals
- Maintain all capital project tracking files for ownership and property team
- Run monthly capital meetings
- Ensure compliance with all capital related policies and procedures
- Lead annual capital budget process

Capital Project Management: Master Plan / Owner Funded Projects
- Coordinate with ownership and project managers on all owner funded projects to ensure property team is up to speed on spend and project status
- Provide regular updates on all projects
- Communicate scope changes, pricing changes, and schedule changes to help operations and finance teams to make any necessary changes

Vendor Relations
- Help establish and hold vendors accountable to project timelines
- Help manage change order process, deposits, percentage of completion invoices and lien releases

Other
- Cross train in other key areas of finance to provide back up support as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- 5+ years hospitality accounting experience required
- Project management skills required
- Construction experience a plus
- Must be highly organized
- Financial analysis experience required to include ROI analysis
- Controls and compliance experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task in a high speed environment
- Strong computer skills necessary
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
