Job Description
Position Description
1. Assist in the development of department blueprints and annual action plans in accordance with the company's strategic plans and the long-term development goals;
2. Implement China’s laws and regulations on K-12 education, and ensure the schools’ educational philosophies and action plans are in accordance with the company’s mission statement;
3. Interpret China's national curriculum and localize the international standards (e.g., IGCSE, A-Level, AP, IB) for use among Grade 1-12 students, mostly Chinese citizens, at international schools;
4. Support IB School Authorization Process and Cambridge Associate Schools;
5. Provide guidance in the design and implementation of the faculty evaluation system, and in the development of school-based curricula and online courses;
6. Supervise and review the school documents including schemes of work, course outlines, unit plans, and lesson plans;
7. Organize training workshops for foreign teachers and conduct effective monitoring and evaluation with a timely feedback.
Requirements
1. Bachelor and above;
2. Knowledgeable about international education; Experience in teaching and educational management is preferred;
3. Bilingual (English and Chinese), or basic Chinese conversation preferred, Good communication and time management skills;
4. Organized, open-minded, and a strong sense of responsibility;
5. A lifelong learner, good team player, and a person with high self-efficacy;
6. Ability to complete multi-task efficiently and adaptable to new situation.
