This digital business unit in close partnership with BCG Digital Ventures is currently working on building a new venture that is poised to become the leading end to end IoT platform for machine efficiency and equipment effectiveness. This platform will not just completely reshape how companies produce and elevate their efficiency levels, but at the same time fundamentally augment the way how manufacturing employees do their job.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining and driving the company’s technological vision
• Together with the CEO, you will shape the company’s executive team and help drive its strategy
• Define, articulate, and execute engineering strategy and product delivery from launch to scale
• Grow, lead and scale high-performing engineering team, operating at the intersection of technology, data science and ML
• Building strong, very attractive and productive engineering culture
• Combining technical vision with hands-on coding skills, executing alongside team if needed
• Making sure the whole product is built on stable & scalable & high-performant & high-available architecture 
• Constantly evaluate technological advancements and innovative solutions to drive continuous product improvement
• Gain and share insights with other leadership team members to continue improving the product and the business

Key Requirements

• Multiple years architecting and building products from early-stage through scaling and maturity
• Experience with data-heavy products and high-performance architectures (platforms, analytics, connectivity) and/or mobile heavy products
• Experience in key engineering leadership positions in start-ups or fast-paced digital environment
• Ability to stand up in an organization and build and scale high performing engineering teams
• An entrepreneurial spirit that is flexible, experimental, and resourceful
• Ideally, strong product mindset or background in product management or as a product owner
• Experience with some of the following is a plus: Building B2B products related to M2M, IoT, IIoT, Industrial, Energy, Logistics
