WHO YOU ARE
Oriental Cambridge International School is a Primary-12 International School aiming to integrate international education with Chinese values via a bilingual curriculum. We are a young school building a team to shape the future of the school.

The Director of English studies will be responsible for key areas:

• Creating and developing clear and consistent English Acquisition and Literacy Programs
• Implement clear standards and assessment
• Methodology focused on student learning at surface, deep and transfer levels
• In-depth and on-going professional development for all the staff
• A well-grounded understanding of these programs particularly at the mid and senior management levels of the school

The aim and goal of OCIS is to provide an environment and program that will give our students a step up attending universities around the world.

DETAILS
• Shenyang/Benxi
• Start date: As soon as possible
• 2 years contract, renewable by mutual consent
• Monday to Friday 8:05 – 5:05

REQUIREMENTS
• Native speaker preferred
• At least 2 years' demonstrated experience in a leadership role
• Experience developing a whole-school curriculum or program
• PGCE, education or related degree preferred
• Experience in IB, Reggio, or Montessori a plus
• Familiar in a startup environment or school an asset
