What you will be doing:
- As the Director of Food & Beverage Outlets, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the Food & Beverage Outlets: Liberté (lunch & dinner Lobby Lounge), Chez Colette (breakfast restaurant), and Room Service.be responsible for managing and overseeing the Food & Beverage Outlets: Liberté (lunch & dinner Lobby Lounge), Chez Colette (breakfast restaurant), and Room Service.
- S/He will provide guidance to a diverse group of Ambassadors with varying personalities while building engagement and a sense of value for the team members. Will be responsible for interviewing, selecting, and training the staff including coaching according to Sofitel standards.
- As the leader of the Food & Beverage department, you will ensure exceptional standards of product and service are maintained, and the maximization of profitability in the various Food & Beverage Outlets. Will ensure that all policies and procedures for the operation of the food and beverage departments are adhered to, as well as all Sofitel and AAA standards. Candidate will manage the food and beverage activities and services of the hotel, to generate business and meet customer satisfaction and sales goals.
- You will exercise good judgment and a strong intuition to anticipate and meet the needs of the Outlet guests, and support the team to ensure a memorable dining experience for all patrons.
- Provide training, coaching and feedback to the team including your management team and provide assistance in the development of the team's skills. Lead by example to ensure successful and seamless service to create a memorable experience for all patrons.
- Provide support both on the floor and with office duties, paperwork and attending interdepartmental meetings.
- Oversee adherence to HACCP guidelines while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction scores. Assist in developing and implementing procedures and practices that will positively influence the guest experience.
- Will also coordinate the activities of Food and Beverage to include forecasting, planning, organizing, directing and development of the annual budget/profit plan for the hotel Food and Beverage Division.
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills that allow you to effectively lead and manage the Food & Beverage team including managers.
- An ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of poise and professionalism.
