Job Description

Job Purpose: 

RWS is looking to recruit an experienced Director of FP&A who will work across group finance and the wider business to deliver a world class commercial finance reporting, planning and analysis which supports the Senior Leadership team of RWS in making better informed commercial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Providing analysis of and commentary on business performance including reporting at Executive and Group Board.
* Leading the Group budgeting and forecasting process.
* Working with the business and finance community to drive best-in-class analysis to improve business performance.
* Developing reporting processes, systems and metrics.
* Support the finance transformation implementation of the new global ERP system to deliver improvement of all FP&A and M.I related through stronger financial controls and enhanced outputs.
* The development of a range of financial models for use in forecasting, scenario modelling, business planning and a multitude of other activities. Ideally using Hyperion Planning / D365. 
* Responsible for monthly reporting on overall business performance, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and risks.
* Design and implement an appropriate business case template for financial investments.

Qualities and Experience 

* Strong academic background with an accountancy qualification ideally gained with a leading international accountancy practice or multinational. 
* Experience working for or with multinational FTSE / listed companies demonstrating strong technical FP&A skills, experience of multi-currency environment including hedging (financial instruments), foreign exchange calculations and risks and experience of acquisition accounting requirements.
* Proven business partner to a range of internal and external stakeholders. 
* Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools.
* High level of commercial acumen
* Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel and other accounting packages.
* Experience of developing and producing timely and accurate management reports providing clear, meaningful management information to stakeholders.
* Good written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to reason, persuade and influence effectively.
* Experience of different finance systems, particularly D365.
* Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels demonstrating commercial awareness and common sense.
* Highly resourceful with a willingness to get involved and roll-up sleeves to get a job done.
* Strong leadership and team building skills.
* Must like /relish growth, change and a fast-paced culture.
