Our client is a multinational professional services firm with operations spanning the globe. The independent group mainly provides accounting, tax, HR and payroll services to businesses operating on an international scale.  Other services cover structured finance, international structuring, international incorporation, fund administration, private equity, real estate investments and IP licensing and collection.  Due to their continued business growth, their Hong Kong office is currently seeking for a Director of Investment Services.

Based in Hong Kong and report directly to the Head of Trust Service, his/her major responsibilities are highlighted as below:

• Oversee risk control of trust investment portfolios, which include establishing risk profiles, investment policy, risk assessment, portfolio strategy and asset allocation.
• Perform basic financial analysis, develop and manage financial models.
• Digest, consolidate and filter investment ideas and re-present ideas in laymen language.
• Maintain close relationship with selective mega-wealth clients and promote other company products/ services.
• Supervise dealing operations and ensure accuracy in monthly investment reports.
• Review investment performance of trust investment portfolios.

• Bachelor or higher degree in Finance, Risk Management or other investment related disciplines.
• Professional qualifications (such as CFA, FRM, etc.) are advantageous.
• Solid experience in asset management, capital markets and private banking operations gained from multinational banks or financial institutions. 
• Dealing experience in executing trades in equities, fixed income and derivatives is vital for success in this position.
• Familiar with trust operation and experience in looking after trust portfolios.
• Good knowledge and experience in investment products - foreign exchanges, cash management, fixed income, unit trusts, global equities, structured products and alternative investments.
• Good understanding of global economy, regional macro outlook, discretionary mandates and various investment strategies.
• Investment policy and benchmark setting, and ability to evaluate portfolio performance independently.
• Strong knowledge and experience in US equities, financial derivatives in FX and equities.
• Analytical, numbers sensitive and risk cautious.
• First class communication skills and high proficiency in English and Mandarin.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to liaise and build relationship with prospects, clients and bankers.
