Job Description
Summary:
The director is responsible for overseeing the online marketing department, consisting of a SEO team and SEM/PPC team. The director will help dictate the SEO and SEM/PPC strategies that will be employed by each team as a whole. The director will assist in training up new hires as well as furthering the education of current employees. In this role communication skills and attention to detail are a must in addition to strong leadership skills. The director will coordinate with the other managers to ensure optimal cross-departmental communication and will be responsible for the success of the teams overall.
Essential Job Functions:
-Manage and lead the SEM/PPC and SEO teams
-Create and implement paid and organic search campaigns across multiple search engines
-Analyze metric data, perform keyword research and analysis, compile summary reports, and perform regular performance reviews of conversion metrics and present recommendations based on those results to team
-Assist with customer management and communication regarding needs, rankings, and other customer facing search marketing communications
-Create periodic SEO and PPC Reports with analysis of performance of campaigns along with recommendations for improvements
-Determine online marketing strategies for team
-Oversee online marketing teams and help determine invidual and team goals
-Work with fun people in a fun atmosphere
Qualifications:
-Minimum 3 years online marketing experience
-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
-Highly Analytical
-Ability to create reports on key business indicators
-Results driven work ethic and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
-Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams
-Capable of continuing training for current employees and training up new employees
-Experience leading teams
