Director of Operations

  What you will be doing:
• Lead and support all departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targets through the establishment of a positive culture, clear expectations, and policy & procedural implementation.
• Support the RVP/General Manager in the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel, assuming the responsibilities of the General Manager in his absence.
• Responsible for the preparation, presentation, and subsequent achievement of the hotel's annual Operating Budget, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget. 
• Responsibility for driving efforts to achieve/exceed the hotel's scorecard targets. 
• Increase management effectiveness by coaching and counseling Leaders, communicating values, strategies, and objectives, assigning accountabilities, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, developing a climate for offering information and opinions, providing educational opportunities. 
• Together with RVP/General Manager, coordinate the planning and implementation of the capital project.

Your experience and skills include:

• Previous experience in a senior leadership role, within a preferred similar hotel brand, required
• Service focused personality is essential and previous leadership experience required 
• Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
• Communicate thoughts, actions, and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
• Ability to lead by example, believe in a strong team culture, and set the scene for high performance
