What You’ll Do:
We are seeking a unique individual that is both a technologist and business
leader to drive Lenovo’s Cloud Server Provider (CSP) product management
strategy. The selected candidate will leverage a deep technical competency,
creativity, and a “drive for results” attitude to build an effective business
model and innovative value to best serve the world’s largest data center
customers.
Responsibilities:
• Be accountable for Lenovo CSP business success in selected accounts
• Build CSP credibility, and delivery business planning to customer to achieve
business target
• Specify market requirements for current and future offerings by conducting
market research with extended sales and marketing teams and Customers
• Develop clear product and solution definitions using thorough analysis of
market dynamics and trends, proactive customer needs and usage, competitive
landscape and tendencies
• Build strong relationships with global customers, vendors, and Lenovo Sales
in order to fully represent the needs of all internal and external customers
• Work with R&D team to evaluate new CSP technology and/or solution
opportunities
• Work effectively with x-functional peers in Engineering, Architecture,
Operations, Services, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales Geographies to
effectively plan and deliver products and solutions to fulfill customer and
business needs
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, engineering, business, or similar
• 10+ years of Data Center product management experience
• Strong understanding of datacenter product design process
• In depth technical knowledge of Server hardware system or building block
design
• Strong sense and skills of marketing and customer engagement
• Strong communication skills: can effectively and proactively communicate
across different cross-functional teams, customers, and partners
• Entrepreneurship: positive, passionate, and proactive attitude. Prioritize
company first and perform as promised.
• Strategic thinker: able to identify potential risks and opportunities, and
perform long term planning, set goals and determine priorities.
• Able to effectively drive decision making.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cloud Service Provider experience
• EE or Mechanical Engineering background
• Data Center product development experience
• Business development experience in Data Center products
