What you will be doing:
- As the Director of Revenue you will be in charge of the overall management of the Revenue and Reservations department.
- You will identify problems, market trends, demand dates and opportunities, through utilization of current systems; gathering and analyzing data to recommend solutions as well as, utilizing all information outlets to meet business needs and predict future market trends.
- Your natural talent for forcasting will aid you to meet business goals/needs of the hotel through Revenue systems while ensuring that all Sofitel standards are delivered and adhered to, will follow staffing budget guidelines based on business needs. Also
- Your knack for attention to detail will come in handy to evaluate the daily, weekly and monthly STR report so as to understand the trends of assigned hotels and competition. Interpret market conditions, trends, and the competition. creating incredible and memorable experiences for our clientele in the Catering meeting spaces.
- Hiring, coaching & counseling, conducting performance evaluations, training and development of Reservations and Revenue ambassadors.
- Participate in weekly Yield meetings/Revmax meetings, ensure quality of reservations sales calls are in accordance with Sofitel brand standards and that all reservation/revenue reports are completed accurately and efficiently.

Your experience and skills include:
- Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills that enable you to work autonomously and effectively
- An ability to work under pressure while maintaining a sense of poise and professionalism. This is extremely crucial and very necessary skill in this role as Director of Revenue.
- A can-do, positive attitude that enables, empowers and inspires others.
- College degree preferably in Hospitality, Revenue management or Economic/Finance/Accounting background. Must have strong analytical and organizational skills; extremely detail oriented as well as proficient in Microsoft office programs.
