Director of Sales & Marketing

Summary of Responsibilities

The Director of Sales & Marketing will be in charge of the service-profit chain focus areas in the Sales & Marketing division, reporting to the General Manager in a collegial relationship with the other Executive Committee members of the Hotel. Living the Raffles brand personality and modelling the leadership competencies, he/she is expected to be an effective leader as coach, leveraging on the team members’ unique strengths to enable them to deliver their best to achieve individual as well as collective goals. Expert in the field of Sales and Marketing, he/she serves as a trusted trainer and mentor. Ultimately, he/she creates and communicate effective sales and marketing strategies to generate the targeted revenue while managing the yield management system and the other internal control systems of the Hotel.

Qualifications

Candidates for this position must have proven senior (division head level) Sales and Marketing leadership experience that matches the summary of responsibilities stated above. They must have expert knowledge and experience in the luxury market of the hotel industry in Jakarta besides being an effective communicator in English and Indonesian, spoken and written. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
