Director of Sales & Marketing:
Movenpick Hotel Tahlia
Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
MISSION
Drive all property sales streams to meet the budgeted revenue objectives of the hotel.
Manage a proactive sales call plan from existing and targeted client base to develop new business opportunities within corporate, government, consortia, group and leisure markets.
This role requires a high level of collaboration with Accor regional and global sales teams to secure and retain business.
Professional representation of the hotel to industry, stakeholders and prospective cliental including product training, presentations and attendance at network events (some of which are outside of hours).
Lead the sales and marketing teams to achievement of desired results and development targets.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experiences to guests who stay in our hotel. You are professional and knowledgeable about the hotel, and you build strong relationships and create bond with your guests.
What you will be doing:
- Setting and delivery of Sales & Marketing strategies in order to achieve the highest level of profitability.
- Deliver Sales & Marketing methods within both a luxury business & leisure scope.
- Nurturing business partnerships managing both hotel and a portfolio of premium accounts.
- As an Executive Committee Member for Movenpick Tahlia, presence on property for client and guest events and collaboration with operations teams.
- Managing and enhancing performance of all sales delivery platforms including internal and external channels.
- Representing sales performance in all Strategic Reviews including Owner Sales and Revenue meetings.
Your experience and skills include:
- Demonstrate experience in leading high performing sales conversions
- Experience of luxury segments of leisure, incentive, events and corporate and adapting to their markets.
- Adopts personal leadership at an elevated level with very high self-discipline and courtesy
- Minimum 3 years of Luxury sales and marketing experience at a senior level.
- Confident and considered presentation skills in both informal entertaining and formal strategic environments.
- Proficient with online tools eg: Microsoft Outlook, CRMs, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Has proven record of performance within sales conversions.
- Has experience of managing contracts, responding to RFPs.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate with impact across all levels.
- Target driven, thrives on setting, analyzing and achieving goals
- Possesses a high attention to detail, and are well organized.
- Takes pride in personal presentation.
- Are commercially astute, enjoys staying current with business and economic trends.
