Director of Sales & Marketing

Reporting to the General Manager, this role will be  leading a team of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations professionals.  This role is essential in driving the strategic direction in Sales and Marketing for the Fairmont Olympic Hotel.

What you will be doing:

• A key member of the Executive Team strategizing the current and future initiatives of the business
• Oversee the daily production of the sales, reservations, revenue, catering, conferences, marketing and public relations teams
• Consistently offering professional, engaging and friendly service through strong communcation skills
• Traveling up to 4 times per year garnishing relationships in the industry
• Provide strong leadership to the Sales, Reservations, Revenue, Catering, Conference Services, Marketing and Public Relations teams and setting achievable goals

Your experience and skills include:

• Knowledge of the Sales & Marketing climate of the local and national markets
• Using technology sigh as Microsoft Office, Opera Sales and Catering
• 5+ years of Senior Sales Management
• Ability to understand and analyze hotel financials and sales market data
