Director of Security

With the health, safety and security of guests and colleagues at the forefront, the Director of Security will be an ambassador of the Fairmont Olympic Hotel ensuring security protocols and standards are followed with integrity.

What you will be doing:

• Leading the safety culture of the Olympic Hotel from guests to colleagues
• Creating, training and upholding security processes throughout the hotel operations
• Collaborating with local authorities in emergency and preventative security matters
• Directing responses to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, and medical emergencies
• Supervising and training all security colleagues

Your experience and skills include:

• Experience with a variety of security technology and practices
• A passion for the safety and well-being of people 
• Ability to de-escalating and transforming conflict
• Experienced with incident, insurance and accident reporting
• Knowledge of security equipment, such as: radios, cameras, and electronic lock systems.
