Software Architecture and Technology Group (SATG) is driving the software-first cultural change where The System, Software and Simulation (S3E) Engineering team is supporting the software-first strategy through early robust system simulators. We are transforming the way our product firmware and software are developed and simulated in a modern cloud computing environment. We deliver an integrated functional, performance, power, and thermal simulation several quarters before the first silicon. Great simulators result in leadership products by simulating our architecture and software before committing our product execution. Our execution strategy focuses on key transformations, most importantly to achieve shift left for all firmware and SW products, through enabling functional and robust simulation models in the cloud, modernize continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) infrastructure on simulation in the cloud. We are looking for a software leader to build and manage a team of software engineers and architects responsible for the development of automated test content for validating Firmware and BIOS Intel products in the Simulation Cloud. Successful candidate will lead the teams thru design, development, validation, debug, optimization, customer engagement, and/or product support. Should be able to provides direction and goals to the group to ensure efficient operation and sound engineering practices are followed and interacts with stakeholders internal and/or external to the organization. Sets priorities for the team, achieves results across boundaries, ensures an inclusive work environment, develops employees, and manages performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelors or master's degree in CS, EC or EEE Engineering, with at least 5+ of semiconductor experience in system software development/integration and validation.
- Solid understanding of the Integration, Validation and Debug flows
- Proven track record of having delivered and maintained production quality firmware or embedded software.
- Results oriented and passionate for driving cross site and multi-functional teams
- Excellent technical aptitude and people and leadership skills with a proven background of having built and grown engineering teams with excellent development practices and high quality and high velocity engineering methods.
- Desired knowledgeable in BIOS , FW and OS internals -, Windows/Linux, System S
- Detail oriented and ability to compare features across multiple processor architectures and low level micro architectural blocks.
Good to have advanced knowledge of the architecture, systems, simulation and emulation environment
Demonstrated leadership and experience in positively motivating and influencing stakeholders to get to the results.
Strong verbal communication skills, problem solving skills and producing results

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$207,010.00-$330,570.00

Work Model for this Role
