This multi award winning and high performing precinct is searching for its new leader of Talent and Culture.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Precinct General Manager, the Precinct Director of Talent & Culture will be responsible for leading the Talent & Culture function across a large team and three hotels, in a dynamic and exciting multi-purpose precinct. The role will ensure the effective management of all people-related activities and day-to-day operations, including organisational development, attraction and retention of talent, employment relations, change management, injury management, employee engagement, well-being initiatives, workplace health & safety and workplace culture.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following;
- Development of a future-focused and innovative people and culture strategy
- Implementation of the Talent & Culture strategy and translating into achievable and measurable goals
- Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to provide guidance, motivation & advice on all Talent & Culture related matters
- Drive team member engagement and promote a positive work culture
- Develop and continually review Talent & Culture strategy on learning & development, engagement, recruitment / retention, rewards & recognition, workforce planning & people initiatives
- Act as a trusted advisor and provide advice in the resolution of issues including performance management, grievances, investigations, role changes and remuneration reviews
About You:
- Expansive knowledge and experience working with HR related legislation including Fair Work Act, Work Cover, IR and Industrial Instruments
- Ability to work at a fast pace and with competing priorities
- A leadership style that is authentic, inspiring, engaging and strategic
- Demonstrable success in leading and driving engagement, well-being and cultural initiatives, preferably in a Hospitality environment
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline desirable
