To assist in the smooth and efficient running of the Training Department within the Human Resources Division.

RESPONSIBILITIES职责:
? Analyze training needs of the hotel in general and individual departments, and develop strategies which address needs, presenting in the form of an annual and monthly Learning & Development Plan to the Management Team for review and implement the plan after approval
? Drive the Departmental Training system and organize Trainers’ clue related training activities
? Markets the learning function by regularly communicating the outcome of training initiatives.
? Familiarize with the Hilton HR and Learning & Development Standards, localizing where necessary
? Ensure effective training programs are in place for the following:
? Brand and QA related Training Programs
? New Team Members Orientation
? Train the Trainer
? Customer Service Training
? Job Skill Training (through certification of departmental standards and procedures)
? Supervisory Skill Training
? Management Development
? Fire, Life and Safety Training
? Team Member Retaining Related Training
? Service Skill Related Training
? Assist Director of Human Resources with the compilation and implementation of team member communications / activities.
? Monitor the progress of the Learning & Development Plan for each department to ensure that the training objectives are being achieved
? Maintains all hotel training records in hard copies or soft copies
? Establish a training library of books, videos, journals and audio visual materials to assist trainers in their training programs and for team member personal development
? Design, produce and implement training programs which meet specific departmental needs in conjunction with Department Heads, ensuring that training session plans are structured and that training is effectively communicated
? Attend departmental training session and critique performance to drive the quality service
? Use Hilton benchmarks to monitor success of training programs and amend your efforts accordingly.
E.g.: achievement of SALT goals, budget, etc
? Assist Department Trainers is preparing and conducting departmental training and assess accordingly
? Prepare and monitor training programs for:
? Hotel Management Trainees
? For Cross exposures internally and externally
? Hotel School Trainees, etc
? Top Talent Development
? Succession Planning
? Obtain a network of specialist training professionals who can assist with the conduct of training programs for advanced or specialist training
? Ensure that Department Heads abide by their responsibilities of team members training against departmental Standard operational procedures
? Procedure monthly training reports including
? Internal Training Programs conducted:
? Who attended
? Number of people attended
? Duration of training
? Who trained
? Cost of delivery (including labor costs)
? Anticipated return on investment and/or training goal
? External training programs attended:
? Maintain current information and records of suppliers of training resources and materials
? Delivers briefings of all internal programs to executive management and department heads
? Provides input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions to Line Managers in line with company guidelines
? Coaches, counsels and disciplines team members, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance
? Regularly communicates with team members and maintains good relations
? Works with superior in the preparation and management of the department’s budget. Duties include: Assists coordinator and English Teacher the preparation of the departmental annual budget. Assists in monitoring and controlling departmental cost on an ongoing basis to ensure performance against budget Assists in the preparation of the hotel strategic plan, goals program, and overall learning & development Budget
? Demonstrate Awareness of Hilton policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within Hilton guidelines and ensure your direct reports do the same Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
? Liaise with other Hilton Learning & Development Managers to share experiences and resources. Liaise with educational institutions conducting hospitality and training courses
? Maintains strong, professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels, business partners and other organizations, including local schools, hotel schools and universities.
