1. Creates CAD drawing per engineering and industry standards.

2. Designs customer assemblies, detail drawings and internal components.

3. Assists in the development of external and internal products and components.

4. Develops internal layouts and drawings for prototype, gages and control fixtures.

5. Maintains an organized and up-to-date software and file system using PLM per release and change management requests.

6. Provides support for engineering, manufacturing, supplier and customers.

7. Responsible for system maintenance (transferring data with our customers, suppliers, and vendors).

8. Updates internal and external drawings per engineering requests.

9. Adopts Cooper Standard engineering best practice in CAD model construction and drawings.

10.Complies with department file storage and file naming conventions.

11.Ensures that housekeeping, health and safety standards are maintained.

12.Supervise Associate Designer's work.

1. Associates degree in CAD technology.

2. Minimum of two years experience.

3. Working knowledge of CAD software.

4. Good English skills.
