Distribution Account Manager- Connectivity- Slough PRIMARY FUNCTION Eaton is a power management company who acquired the Tripp Lite company in 2021, extending our portfolio with Connectivity and cable solutions. We are looking for highly curious, adaptive sellers who have a passion to expand our relationship with Key Channel Partners, Resellers and IT Distributor You will be responsible for developing, managing and implementing a commercial strategy for the Tripp lite portfolio and executing this through our distribution partner base business. You will collaborate with our sales teams to support connectivity and cable solutions through the wider channel base You will manage the active recruitment and onboarding of new partners as well as supporting the development and growth of our existing partner base. You will work collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to drive effective sales processes driving growth of our partners ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Responsible for driving the commercial strategy within this partner base, developing, executing and tracking account plans. Develop relationships within the partners organisation and determine how we generate mutually profitable growth You will develop a deep knowledge of product/solution we can offer the market. Partner with our marketing teams to define action-oriented plans that make a difference to our partners. Explore and create new opportunities and business in focus markets as well as understanding market insights to identify our next growth opportunities. You will be a natural communicator and be able to develop relationships across our customers organization. Be an advocate for key customer requirements and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure these are met. Educating and communicating internal sales and key partners on the value proposition of Tripp Lite by Eaton portfolio Perform regular training to ensure our partners have a strong understanding of our offers and facilitate additional support requests from our partners. Proactively manage business reviews of accounts and secure our opportunities for growth Master working though complex processes across our sales and marketing organisation and ensure they can identify paths to success Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE A Bachelor's / Master's Degree A sales background within channel Extended Connectivity product and market knowledge Strong analytical skills to identify concerns and opportunities Strong communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated executive presence – board room quality – able to represent Eaton to senior managers externally and internally.
