Objectives

• To meet customer service requirements in lead time/ supply stability, and maintain low costs in transportation, logistics & inventory capital, via the following roles:Position inventory across distribution network and schedule for finished goods at a detailed level on the short-term horizon; Communicate, drive and monitor MP execution result in operation level; Resolve day to day problem in order processing, supply and logistics; Optimize ability to serve our customers at the lowest possible cost and working capital;Lift intermodal utilization and sustain high utilization rate under changing market/production situation; Drive continuous improvements in distribution network

Main Tasks

• Conduct daily check via SAP R/3, TMS on production confirmation, order execution and stock status. Monitor actual distribution execution against MP. Proactively identify outlier and discuss with corresponding party for solutions. Escalate to management for advice/support if there is a need;
• Take charge of replenishment plan by monitoring demand planning and maintaining outside safety stock levels according to defined inventory replenishment process;
• Maintain a rolling stock transfer plan and detailed schedule in a short-term horizon to ensure serve customers at the most cost efficiency transportation mode;
• Frequently communicate with sales, material planning, CSO and transportation to ensure the timely distribution plan adjustment;
• Manage off site stock (e.g. ports/station or external warehouses) and sales order placement to eliminate dysfunctional inventory and minimize additional expense e.g. demurrage cost;
• Prepare report to provide visibility to SC management and sales for in-transit delivery situation, stock level and non-allocation volume and proactively identify gaps(demand/supply/service) and propose countermeasures;
• Maximize intermodal utilization for meeting both delivery reliability and inventory targets;
• Identify bottlenecks within distribution network and develop continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity and customer services;
• Maintain and own distribution relevant planning master data. Ensure master data are accurate through continuous validation and adjustment;
• Maintain SAP MM relevant Master data e.g. Materials Master to support planning and materials management processes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Logistics Management;
• Working Experience: minimum 4 years relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain function;
• Technical & Professional Knowledge: Production/Transportation Planning essential, SAP (SD, TM or WM) knowledge preferred, chemical goods logistics operation experience relevant.
