Eaton’s Industrial Controls Division is currently seeking a Lead HR Generalist to join our team. This position is based at our Menomonee Falls, WI location with the option to work a hybrid (home/office) work schedule. Position Overview: The primary function of this high performing business partner will be to support the ICD headquarters employees (Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Finance) in the implementation and deployment of Human Resources policies, programs and initiatives. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to daily consultative services and expertise in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Development, Employee Relations, Performance and Talent Management, and Compensation. This role will also have visibility and interaction with the CPD HR/VP for various reporting tasks and special projects. In this function you will: Coaches managers on effective handling of retention, performance management, and engagement strategies. Oversees Immigration, FMLA, Disability, Worker’s Compensation, Affirmative Active Planning and ADA. Works to resolve issues that may arise for own customer group. Provides counsel and support to resolve interpersonal conflicts and employee relations issues. Leads Inclusion & Diversity council and plans events in order to increase employee involvement and engagement. Build relationships with client groups that work to enhance overall communications throughout the division. Coaches managers on effective handling of retention, performance management, and engagement strategies. Conducts general or specific training sessions where needed based upon detailed needs analysis activities. Provides assistance and administrative support in the areas of employment processing, HRMS data entry, and recruiting requisition processing. Deploy and support all HR initiatives, programs, processes and systems as required and assigned. Support and execute the deployment of HR Special Projects as assigned by the HR Director. Collaborates with HR Services on all transactional HR matters. Ensure integrity in all HR systems with timely and accurate data entry and frequent audits. Responsible for running and creating reports, analyzing information and providing data. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 4 years human resources experience required OR Master’s degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 2 years of human resources experience required Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: PHR Certification MBA Manufacturing industry experience HR Generalist experience Specialized knowledge of the interpretation of laws, regulations and standards, and enforcement agencies for equal employment opportunities, safety, wage and hour, unemployment, workers’ compensation and labor law Position Criteria: Excellent communication and employee relations skills Coaching/Facilitation/Conflict Management skills Excellent PC skills We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
