Eaton’s Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure (CPDI) Division is seeking a Division Supply Chain Leader to join our team! This role is to be based in Raleigh, NC or Chicago, IL, with flexible work solutions from those locations. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the supply chain function for our division. As the supply chain leader for CPDI, you will lead all functions of supply chain management, including supply chain operations, sales, inventory and operations planning (SIOP), new product introduction, procurement, materials and inventory management, logistics, and cost out initiatives, as well as maintaining supplier development, management, and performance. In this role you will: Provide strategic leadership for the division’s overall supply chain operations; lead and manage projects to improve supply chain related metrics, such as customer on-time, cost savings, DOH, DPO, supplier on-time delivery and supplier DPPM. Manage complex inventory needs and customer expectations (50% of direct material purchases are at extended lead-times/2-3 times customer quoted lead times) Drive focus around advanced understanding of SIOP driven Materials Management including forecasting, scheduling, capacity analysis and inventory management. Lead continuous improvement efforts in supply chain processes, including ERP implementations and integrations of newly acquired businesses. Support new product introduction initiatives by managing the supply chain elements of ProLaunch and participating on global gate reviews. Lead the division’s cost savings program, managing all elements of cost savings in Sourcing, VA/VE, Factory Productivity, Logistics and Distribution Manage supplier performance, including supplier on time performance and holding suppliers to cost savings goals by developing pro-active long-term strategies on supplier development. Develop short- and long-term plans in alignment with the strategic plan and annual profit plan objectives to drive superior operational performance and financial results. Create a culture of exceeding customer expectations, ensuring that the supply chain organization is highly responsive to customer needs and issues. Develop and cultivate relationships with key suppliers (internal and external) to ensure high quality relationships and products. Build organizational capability by providing leadership in recruiting, goal alignment, employee development, performance management and communication. Ensure motivation and retention of a high-performance supply chain team. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum 10 years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in supply chain and/or operations management Minimum 5 years of experience in a leader of people role Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution is preferred. Advanced understanding of SIOP driven Materials Management including forecasting, scheduling, capacity analysis and inventory management. APICS CPIM certification qualification or commitment to complete equivalent Leadership of a cross-functional team Job Criteria: Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams, both internally and externally Knowledge of current technologies in manufacturing, engineering, materials management/inventory control, distribution, and logistics, purchasing, quality assurance systems processes and practices. Strong financial and business acumen. Strong collaborative skills with the proven ability to drive change and leadership ownership / accountability. Ability to build high performance teams, lead cross-functionally, develop & train employees. Ability to provide leadership, performance results, organizational development, and operational improvement. Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and materials process fundamentals Expertise in driving business process improvement initiatives The position requires strong managerial and leadership skills, along with strong supply chain functional understanding. As a division leader, this individual must also demonstrate an understanding of operational needs and business objectives and be able to balance strategic and tactical objectives.
