PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for the preparation and execution of preventive and work-related health care programs, as well as the administration and provision of health care services, the administration of all medical services, the administration of the medical department and compliance with applicable legal requirements. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Coordinates the workers' health surveillance program through entrance examinations, periodic examinations and SOPs. Identifies potential causes of accidents and occupational diseases, in coordination with the industrial safety department, getting involved in the establishment of preventive health and safety measures. Periodically assists in the preparation of the epidemiological preventive program of diseases due to exposure to chemical, physical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial agents according to the nature of labor and industrial activities performed in the different areas of the plant. Notifies and conducts the investigation of incidents or accidents that occur in connection with the work activity and the exercise of work with machinery, equipment, instruments and processing materials, considering its legal significance. Submits to the Secretary of Labor and Social Prevention the notification of occupational hazards occurred, in accordance with the stipulations of the applicable laws and regulations. Responds to forms ST7, ST9, and other clarifying documents issued by the Mexican Institute of Social Security, as a result of occupational hazards occurred. Certifies when an employee returns from a period of incapacity, whether due to general illness or occupational risk, validating his medical capacity to resume his work activities. Determines and documents the information that allows calculating and notifying annually the insurance premium for occupational hazards. It issues its opinion on the origin of the illness or work accidents that are presented or detected, or that are claimed by the workers. Communicates to the company the results of the medical examinations regarding the labor aptitude of the workers, respecting the confidentiality to which the ethical and legal protocols are subject. Assists with the orientation, and if necessary, with the training in the prevention of occupational hazards requested by the company. Coordinates the acquisition of essential medicines and healing materials, in accordance with the basic authorized chart, to provide timely and effective medical care and first aid services. Establishes and ensures compliance with a follow-up program to protect the health of pregnant and breastfeeding working mothers, as well as the product during the prenatal care period. Performs external medical consultation to family members of workers eligible for this benefit by the company. Responsible for compliance with regulations, registration, administration and reporting in patient logbook, medical care, medical history, medications provided, epidemiological controls, chronic degenerative diseases, provision of antibiotic therapy, and other necessary data, and submits them to the labor and health authorities, if required. Channel infectious cases and materials to Health Sector dependencies based on the applicable public health regulations and protocols. Supervises the filling of service and attention logs of the medical department, generating the respective statistics and reports. Responsible for coordinating management Coordinates the organization, training, regulatory compliance of the first aid brigades. Participates and is involved in all activities related to industrial health and safety. Any other task or responsibility assigned by his immediate superior or management personnel of the organization. Monitoring of cafeteria health compliance. Oversee compliance with Hygiene, Operational studies and examinations of Cafeteria personnel. Is in charge of coordinating controls to prevent the spread of COVID19. Leads the implementation and sustainment of the COVID19 pandemic Qualifications SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Basic Qualifications Requisitos básicos de la posición: Bachelor’s degree (physician) 5 years minimum on charge of a medical department, medical services, and legal requirements (IMSS, COFESPRIS y STPS). Preferably experience working in a manufacturing environmental.
