Job Description

A. JOB SUMMARY

Preparing and monitoring the company’s controlled documents, in accordance with client and company requirements. Assist Manager to implement and maintain the document control system, reporting on the performance of the system for review and as a basis for improvement.


B. JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

¨ Participate in project handover meetings with the specific objective of assessing and assisting to implement all projects / works order documentation requirements
¨ Ensure that documents / data submittal dates are adhered to and improved upon wherever possible.
¨ Assist Manager to coordinate the client / contractors / interior designers / CAD operating teams to ensure that all parties are working to the correct version of drawings.
¨ Prepare and arrange a full Design / Document control for high profile projects
¨ Assist Manager to maintain the Company’s Process Documentation System (e.g. Quality Control and Best Practice Manual)
¨ Assist Manager to control of review comments and design plans
¨ Assist Manager to administer all aspects of drawing collation, distribution, updating and revision
¨ Assist Manager to evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of documents / drawings
¨ Compile data / dossier manual for each relevant projects / works order including all operating, maintenance, certification and as-built drawing requirements
¨ Assist Manager to coordinate a pre-contract enquires from site personnel, sub-contractors and consultants who require additional drawings or copies of drawings

D. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Training

  • Certificate / Diploma or above in Building Studies / Engineering or equivalent

Technical Requirements

  • 2 years projects coordination experience in office building works
  • Proficiency with AUTOCAD LT coupled with experience of working within a drawing office environment
  • Previous engineering industry experience and understanding of the end-to-end testing and commissioning process

Managerial Experience

  • Experience in managing technical documentation and complex activities. These experiences should be gained in areas of consultancy and project management / construction operations.

Others

  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office

  • Good command of English
