How will you make an impact?
 
As Documentum Developer, you will provide technical expertise to build effective and scalable document management solutions, aligning with Thermo Fisher Scientifics standards & strategic objectives. You will support the validated and non-validated production systems by implementing the enhancements, custom coding, configuration management etc. and enhance user experience. 
 
 
What will you do?            
 
 
 

  • Performance analysis and troubleshooting on Documentum application. Index troubleshooting and diagnostics on xPlore
  • EMC Documentum D2-Client and D2-Config Configuration Options and Customizations, Installation and Configuration of D2 and D2-Config.
  • Understanding\\reviewing the Requirements and Design Specifications according to Business.
    Must have recent development experience in OpenText Documentum platform (preferably WDK, WebTop, D2, XCP, DFC/ Server version 6.x, 7.x, 16.x and above)
  • Hands on with tools like Documentum Composer, DAR Installer, Business Process Manager, Documentum Administrator, xPlore, Adlib Administration/ Configurations.
  •  Proficient with Java/ J2EE, DFC, DQL/ SQL, API, CTS and xPlore configurations, omcat, JBoss, / WildFly, SQL Server, Scripting, Web Services (REST/ WSDL).
  • Coordinate with team to develop, refine, analyze and test systems, and aid in maintenance and resolution.
  • Identify system needs and faults, and make efforts to reduce errors and improve performance.
  • Record and update codes and design deliverables in keeping with standards.



 
 
 
 
How will You get here?
 
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Documentum Developer/admin/fundamentals certification (preferred)
  • Must have 7 or more years of recent development/production support experience with Documentum version 7.1 or above
  • Knowledge in working with Validated systems (CFR 9 Part 11) (Required)
  • Webservice and Integration experience (Preferred)
  • DB performance analysis using AWR reporting (Preferred)
 
 
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
 
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment as well as work independently
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Documentum product suite software like content server, repository, xPlore, CTS, DARs etc.
  • Composer, HTML, XML, CSS, JSP, Java, script, SOAP, Unix, Windows, CTS, BOCS, AWS, Webtop,D2,XCP,LSQM,Centerstage, Tomcat, HP ALM validation tool
  • Experience working in UNIX platform, monitoring Documentum services, log files and Troubleshooting
  • Expertise in Documentum Query Language, APIs, Foundation Classes, WDK, Business Object Framework
  • Should be familiar with Build; deployment procedures and Version control tools
  • Support, monitoring and troubleshooting of both production and non- production environments
  • Promotes support best practices and proactively takes measures to empower support teams to resolve issues with agility
