Doorperson
From a warm welcome to a fond farewell, as a Doorperson, you will take care of the guests as soon as they step foot onto your driveway, ensuring a lasting impression for our guests’ stay.
 

Responsibilities:

• Will stop tasks (not related to serving the guest) and offer assistance to waiting guests
• Will offer pleasant greeting and/or comment to all passing guests
• Will give directions to the reception area for all arriving guests
• Responsible for the Taxi line
• Will direct vehicles where to park in the driveway to maintain a level of organization at the front entrance to the hotel
• Will attempt to open all passenger or driver side doors of all vehicles arriving at the hotel and greet each guest with “Welcome to the Plaza” while smiling
• Will provide guests with information about our hotel and information outside the hotel
• Will be knowledgeable of the top 25 most frequently asked questions
• Will remain cautious of all persons loitering at the front entrance who may be deemed “undesirable” and control access to hotel through the front door
• Use 10/5 Rule at all times

 

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and  strong communication skills an asset
• Basic computer knowledge an asset
• Be able to lift 50 pounds on occasion
