Description
Create mechanical concept, develop product structure and complete 3D/2D drawings and BOM according to design input.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain product documentation including 3D models, 3D assemblies, layouts, detail drawings, engineering masters and part numbers;
- Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance in design;
- Develop and obtain test parts and assemblies for prototype testing;
- Originating and/or investigating Engineering Change Request;
- Conduct design calculation and tolerance studies using manual or computer-aided tools;
- Creation and maintenance of engineering practices or standards that describe best practices;
- Provide drawing or models related support to sales and operation department;
Requirements
- College or BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; mechanical design and manufacturing process including casting, forging, machining and welding etc.
- A motivated self-starter with an understanding of engineering fundamentals and their application.
- Knowledge of GD&T. Experience with CAD tools. Working knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and other industry codes and standards.
- MS office, written and spoken English
