Key Accountabilities

• Interpret data, instructions, and specifications (for example previous drawings, layouts,sketches, notes, and verbal instructions) to prepare accurate drawings.
  

• Combine various details from sketches,drawings, or blueprints and make required calculations.
  

• Use Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment such asdigitizers, plotters, CRT's and associated peripheral equipment and software or manual drafting techniques to

perform scaling dimensioning, or line locating according to standard industry procedures.

• May use special techniques in schematic drawing, isometric, orthographic, or perspective projection. Detail, redraw, letter, and trace drawings on components, assemblies, and engineering change orders.
  

• Work with engineers to determine accuracy of work and maintaining drafting standards.
  

• May supervise junior draftspersons.
  

• Performance Measures KPIs agreed in yearly MbO.

• Other requirements Excellent command of both oral and written local language and English are required.
  

Requirement:

• Education High School diploma or equivalent Experience 5 years of directly related work experience.
  

• Knowledge and skills Previous preparation or experience with CAD is typically required.

• Familiarity with plotters and drawing reproduction methods/machines.

• Ability to read blueprints. Strong math background is preferred.
  

• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, proceed with objectives without supervision, and resolve recurring problems.

• Computer literate including Microsoft Office products.
