Drama Teacher Job Description

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS：

- Enthuse about education, and love students. Be able to teach in fluent English with good accent. Native speaker is preferred.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree that relates to teach subjects Drama: Minimum 2 years’ experience of major-related teaching drama courses above middle school
- Be good at communicating with students; knowing students’ psychological and study status
- Teaching License issued from any countries’ government or teaching certificate such as TEFL or TESOL is required；
- No criminal records and violated records
- Be able to consecutively complete over one entire academic year in China
- Drama Courses, drama teaching experience is preferred.

The workload

- No more than 25 classes per week;

Job Responsibilities

- Complete the teaching plan, teaching preparation,teaching classroom and teaching evaluation after class according to the requirements of academic office;
- Set the object, for the compulsory drama courses for grades 6-11 ,including elementary/senior goals,the essential requirement and primary/senior contents and methods;
- Organize and guide an effective professional development of student drama club.
- Assist the department of student management to enrich the daily life of students and the school;
- Follow other administrative requests from the head of school.


Note:
As our school is a small &excellent high-quality school with distinct characteristics,while the number of students in each grade is very small, and we hope that our drama teachers can have the following teaching abilities and experience as the preferred choice on the premise of well completing the drama curriculum requirements; English language teaching,Art teaching,Omnibus teaching or other subjects.
